Prior to this, he was the former Zarlengo Outreach Program Director at the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club where he oversaw a youth soccer program with the goal to provide access to high quality, developmentally appropriate soccer programs to Latino children in under-resourced areas throughout Colorado. Felipe graduated from the University of Denver where he triple majored in political science, international relations and Spanish literature and language. He holds a USSF ‘E’ License and National Youth License (soccer licenses). Felipe was born in Morelia, Michoacan Mexico but has lived in Colorado for most of his life. He’s on several boards in the city of Denver and also writes for a soccer website called the The18.com. He loves to play pick up soccer throughout the city and hang out with his pup, Osito.
